This ambulance aircraft has just been through a two-year restoration process. An FAA certified inspector (IA), observed the entire restoration process.
The following repairs were accomplished:
AIRFRAME TT 1492 Total time since complete restoration 20 hrs
POWER PLANT
825 TT and 418 TSMOH. Since the aircraft had not flown since 1976 the engine was dissembled and all parts were cleaned and inspected. Crankshaft, connecting rods etc. were sent out for magnaflux testing. The engine was reassembled by FAA IA using an approved overhaul kit. The engine is running very clean and uses very little oil.
