Alion Wins $ 72 Million Order for Unmanned Aircraft Systems

Alion Science and Technology secured a $ 72 million order with a 60 month performance period for Endurance UAS, Tactical UAS, Soldier UAS, and Office Aviation Command Control and Effects Army Program Executive, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Project Office or UASPO.

Alion was awarded this contract as part of the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center multi-contract. These DOD IAC MAC task orders are assigned by the 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron of the US Air Force.

Alion will conduct research, analysis, business studies and testing to provide recommendations and plans for development, integration, management and technical support for programs, projects, systems, subsystems, components and equipment UAS support.
