DETROIT – June 13, 2018 – * Detroit Lions and Quicken Loans today announced the launch of the “2018 Detroit Lions Training Camp Presented by Rocket Mortgage”. * All preseason camp activities will begin at the Lions Headquarters and Training Center in Allen Park on Friday July 27.
The Rocket Mortgage brand will be present throughout training camp, and more particularly with a logo patch that will be placed on the front, at the top left of the training jersey for the entire 2018 preseason.
“We are proud to support the Detroit Lions for many years and are delighted to be back on the pitch together for the 2018 Detroit Lions training camp,” said Casey Hurbis, Marketing Director of Quicken Loans.
In addition to supporting the “2018 Detroit Lions Training Camp Presented by Rocket Mortgage,” the company will also continue its regular season sponsorship as the official mortgage lender of the Detroit Lions. More details will be announced ahead of the Monday night football season opening at Ford Field on September 10.

DAILY PRACTICAL INFORMATION
To maximize fan viewing experience, lines of sight, and potential player interaction, attendance at the 2018 Detroit Lions training camp featured by Rocket Mortgage practice sessions will be limited per day. Once the daily capacity is reached, the doors will be closed for additional guests.

Monitoring of daily practice updates
Fans are encouraged to visit detroitlions.com/trainingcamp for daily training information, including weather updates, training times and any changes to the team’s training camp schedule. Workouts at Allen Park are open for outdoor training only and are subject to change. Alternate rain dates are available as needed and will be announced for selected sessions that close due to inclement weather. In the event of bad weather, the practices will be moved inside and therefore closed to the public. Information on access to practice will also be available through the team’s training camp hotline (313.262.2882).
Live streaming and video recording of any practice segment is strictly prohibited.
- Re-entry is not permitted and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Personal effects are subject to entry inspection and items not permitted in open practices include: professional cameras (lenses over five inches long and / or 50mm or more), any video cameras, poles selfie, drones, food, drinks, coolers, lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas, handbags (larger than a pouch) or backpacks.
- Only transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC bags not exceeding 12 “x 6” x 12 “will be allowed on the premises. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the door.
- Small camera and binocular pouches / cases, no larger than 4.5 “x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap, can also be carried around the practice facility.
All cell phones should be turned off or placed in silent or vibrating mode. The fan viewing area includes bleachers and additional standing areas.
There will be official Lions merchandise for sale on site at training camp. Items include the official Detroit Lions 2018 training camp hat and performance apparel.
While autographs aren’t guaranteed, it was common in previous years for Lions players and coaches to meet fans after practice sessions.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
